CERAMICS + PRINT

Bringing printmaking techniques into ceramics felt inevitable for me—it’s where my affinity for bold, graphic mark making meets the natural, unpredictable nature of clay. This work is one of my current fascinations. I am experimenting with transfers, silkscreen, relief, and surface treatments as a way to carry visual language from my two-dimensional work into forms that exist in physical space and daily life. For me, these pieces hold the potential to communicate something lasting—messages and symbols— through an object people can hold, use, and live alongside. The permanence and infinite recyclability of clay contrast with the immediacy of print. Combining the two allows me to create work that feels both accessible and enduring.
